I've seen a few people doing this, so call me a bandwagon jumper if you must, but I think being grateful is a great idea. So, for the 30 days of November, I will post each day about something I'm grateful for.
I've missed the first couple of days of November, so I will catch up today, and hopefully from here on out I'll get a post in each day.
Day 1
I am so thankful for God, my perfect father. His love and grace to me in unfathomable. I am grateful that He is perfect. I can neither take away, nor add anything to make Him better than He is. I'm so glad that by His grace, I have walked with him for 22 years. He has seen me through so much, given me so much, put up with so much from me...Oh Father. I love You, and I love each and every good and perfect gift You have given to me.
Day 2
I am thankful for Ryan. My husband for a little over 4 years now. I was so elated that September day to become his bride. I couldn't have imagined the journey before us. Through our 4 years as husband and wife, I have come to respect and love him more than I would have thought possible. He's a rock in my life. He's a fantastic dad. He is a wonderful man of God. If ever there was a more perfect match for me, I wouldn't believe it. Ryan is the very best.
Day 3
I am so grateful to be a mother. Although I only have one child to play with, instruct, and hold, my heart holds so much love for both of my children.
If there were ever a day that I didn't think I had a reason to smile, I would only have to look at my sweet little boy.
He is SUCH a perfect gift. Sure we put up with the tantrums, the nights of interrupted sleep, the battles over eating healthy food, but it's all worth it. I haven't met anyone yet who doesn't get a smile on their face when they're around my little guy. He's a true treasure. There just aren't words for how grateful I am to be his mommy. And my sweet, sweet Adaiah. I am so thankful for the 12 weeks I got to carry you. You were, and still are, so very loved. I'm so thankful that you're with Jesus. I can't wait to join you there.
