It's so good to have company, especially as we're getting settled and haven't made a whole lot of friends yet. And I just love these two people. Ben, my brother, is naturally amazing. I mean, we're in the same family, so what would you expect. :) And Krissi...she's just so good for him. I love them together. And I love them together and here even more.
We've enjoyed a full weekend starting yesterday afternoon. We've played disc golf, did some thrifting, explored more of Burlington - particularly the river front, and made a fantastic (!!!) new recipe. (It's vegetarian too, for any of you readers who might be interested). And of course, just hanging out doing whatever is just lots of fun when these two are involved.
We have a small scheme in the works of getting either a large house or duplex and living with them. Krissi wants to teach, and we live close enough to Illinois, where she will be certified, that we're pretty sure we could make it work. :) We can wish, right? Yes.
Anyway, I'm thankful for a great weekend with two really cool people. Thank you Lord for my brother and the lovely lady in his life.
