Day 29

Throughout the month of November, I've received several sweet gifts from people, whether they be words, or objects, in regards to our baby, Adaiah.
While I am so grateful for the gifts in and of themselves, I am even more grateful for what is behind the gifts.
You see, when people remember to give an encouraging word, or say a prayer, or give a gift, it means they are remembering our Adaiah.  As a mom, that means so much to me, especially since no one ever got to meet our baby.  To have our little one recognized and remembered means the world.

So thank you to those of you who have sent up prayers for us still.  Thank you for your encouragement.  Thank you for the sweet gifts. (Especially those from Allison and Jayme - pictured below).  But most of all, thank you for remembering.  It's the best way I know to honor my child.  So thank you, so very much.

P.S. - Tomorrow, it's been 3 months since Adaiah went to be with Jesus. I can't believe it's been that long.  It's about how long I was able to carry my sweet baby.  So if you think of it, please say an extra prayer for us tomorrow.

  1. I woke up this morning thinking of you, Ryan, Ian and Adaiah!!! I know this has been a rough 3 months but you inspire so many people. I am so glad you love the ornament for Adaiah!!! Mine is on the tree. I am sending you a hanger so that after Christmas you can put it up in the house all year round. I love you, Ryan and my 2 precious grandchildren so much. You are always in my prayers!!!
