In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.
- Mark Twain
Today, I have to be grateful for the men and women who have served the United States of America. I am so thankful for all the freedoms I have living in this great country, and I know those freedoms wouldn't be afforded without the great sacrifice made by our veterans.
For any veterans who may read this, thank you. Truly, thank you. I hope that you have not faced hatred or scorn for your sacrifice. Thank you for making it easy to be proud to be an American. Your service will not be forgotten.
Happy Veteran's Day
