Day 7

Today, I have been very grateful for my little home.  And when I say little, I do mean it.  I can't say it's the house of my dreams, but it is warm, and comfortable, and it is a nice little place for my family.


I spent about half the day today "nesting" so to speak.  No, I'm not pregnant, I just wanted to take a few more steps toward getting the apartment completely settled.  My goal is to get all the pictures up and spare boxes out before we end up moving. (I have no idea when that will be, probably a long way off, but it's a goal nonetheless) :-)

I'm thankful for the 3 rooms. The extra one is a big help, especially since we have a much smaller space.  I'm thankful for our little bathroom, which is now looking pretty much just how I want it.  I have to say, I also really enjoy our claw foot tub.  If nothing else, this apartment inside the church makes me feel nostalgic.

Anyway, it's a warm, welcoming home. It makes me enjoy the simplicity of life.  Thank you, Lord for not just a house, but a home.
